With just a couple books and a few chisels, travis made a two story timber-frame using hand tools and the occasional chainsaw. A strong determination to keep the bros away, a lot of coffee and an uncanny way of stretching a dollar helped produce what will be a heartbreakingly beautiful studio in the woods. From cutting down the giant white pines, milling out 24 ft 8x8s, moving dry stone into place for the foundation, splitting out pegs of oak from the forest, to calling in some friends when the bents were raised by hand, the whole process was handmade and homemade.
