travis sehorn is a performer and poet from montana who lives in maine. he has written over 200 songs and 1000s of poems. he collaborates with many theater projects including nationally toured plays with the missoula oblongata and der vorfuhreffekt theatre.
while living in london travis was part of a film called morning dew, a futuristic-animal-apocalypse-love triangle story. travis is currently making a yet untitled second film from the hours and hours of footage shot for this film.
the next year in london travis made/ran/was wild miracle, a musuem in his room in a squatted office building. then an attempt at experimental touring of the film morning dew wound around europe as far as romania and greece and was a total disaster.
2015 was the year travis bought 10 acres in maine and began to settle down. he is busier than ever at work on multiple new albums of music and a new play called riding the ghostyard. that is between felling 100 foot white pines, fleshing beavers and stoking the fire. oh and timber-framing a handmade studio!
more recently he is performing with patrick costello as Ole Jimmy and the T in the B's to patrick's PJ Idaho. PJ Idaho is a queer gymnast country singer. Ole Jimmy is the band/horse.
starting in 2018 at the residency Hewnoaks in maine, travis is collaborating on a new theater project with s. lowry, eli nixon, chenda cope and patrick costello with the working title, 'future ancestor'. with an indefinite but dedicated timeline, meeting to work every couple months, the project is ever-changing but deals in the realms of the queer white clown, where we came from and where we might be going...
also, travis is co-owner with patrick costello of a christmas tree village in brooklyn called christmastown.
